The Opportunity

This position works out of our Livermore, CA location in the Heart Failure Division. In Abbott’s Heart Failure (HF) business, we’re developing solutions to diagnose, monitor and manage heart failure, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.

As a Logistics Representative, you will follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, record, and dispatch goods in a store or warehouse

What You’ll Work On

• Receive incoming goods, check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
• Pick order, pack, receive, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders.
• Ensure proper routing of materials is maintained while transporting the materials between departments.
• Enter data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock and inventory records.
• Retrieve stored information to respond to enquiries (for example on stock transfer, inventory levels or delivery schedules).
• Perform other routine clerical activities according to the organization’s established procedures.
• These activities may include updating stock cards and inventory records, and completing receipt, transfer, delivery, and dispatch forms.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/ GED
• 1 year of work-related experience
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Able to work overtime as the business requires to include Holidays and weekends.
• Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• General proficiencies in Microsoft Office and SAP desired.

The base pay for this position is $22.30 – $44.60 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
