Our client is currently seeking a qualified Level 1 Desktop Support Technician to join their team onsite in Holmdel, NJ and provide end-user support. There could be overnight stays required for a couple of areas supported. Reimbursement for milage and hotels will be provided. The work schedule is M-F 7:30am-4:30pm.
This is a 6 month contract opportunity.
Duties And Responsibilities
The rate for this position is between $30.00 - $33.00 per hour , unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

- Replace old Windows 10 desktops with new PCs
- Work with users to configure PCs for use
- Travel to remote facilities:
- To complete desktop upgrade with user
- To perform inventory and cleanup other desktop devices
- Must be reliable
- Ability to drive personal vehicle to other corporate facilities
- Ability to lift and carry desktop equipment
- Good communication skills
- Good analytical / troubleshooting skills
- Strong working knowledge of MS Windows Operating Systems
- Working knowledge of MS Office and basic business applications
- Good customer support skills
