SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.
LEARNING GUIDE
Ad Astra is a private school and learner-driven community with the mission to encourage each person who enters its doors to find a calling and change the world. Our school consists of three studios: Spark (ages 4-7), Discovery (ages 7-11), and Adventure/Launch Pad (ages 11-18). This is not a traditional school model. In all areas of school life, our learners are empowered to be in the driver’s seat of their learning. We combine elements of the Montessori method with Socratic guiding, hands-on experiential quests and adaptive technology. We support each student on their personalized journey by fostering an engaging learning environment that feels more like an adventure than school, while still upholding highly rigorous academic standards. Our real-world quests culminate in a public exhibition of learning every ~6 weeks to allow our students to demonstrate their brilliance in multiple ways.
Responsibilities
Applicants wishing to view a copy of SpaceX’s Affirmative Action Plan for veterans and individuals with disabilities, or applicants requiring reasonable accommodation to the application/interview process should reach out to EEOCompliance@spacex.com.
