The Leader of Financial Planning and Analysis is a key member of the finance leadership team responsible for leading the company's FP&A function. This individual will bring strategic financial oversight and operational excellence to support scalable growth within a private equity-backed CRO.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with Corporate, Commercial and Business Unit leadership and CFO to develop integrated business and financial plans, annual budgets, monthly forecasts and business performance reviews.
Prepare financial materials for PE sponsors, lenders, and Board presentations.
Develop and maintain detailed financial models that support strategic decision-making.
Drive the development of standardized reporting and operational KPIs across global operations.
Support commercial teams in pipeline forecasting, pricing strategy, and margin optimization.
Provide financial modelling and analytical support to M&A activities.
Oversee development of systems and processes to drive operational effectiveness and efficiency.
Provide leadership and oversight to other members of the FP&A team.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; MBA or CPA preferred.
15 years of progressive finance experience with leadership across FP&A, operations finance, or sales operations.
Experience In CRO, Pharma Services, Or Life Sciences Preferred.
Proven track record in PE-backed, growth-oriented organizations.
Expertise in data-driven decision-making and process improvement.
Strong leadership and collaboration skills with ability to influence across functions.
Hands-on approach with the ability to balance strategic thinking and execution.
