Description

• Breeds, raises and cares for small research animals on behalf of, or for sale to, customers.
• Follows proper breeding and animal care procedures.
• Monitors animal behavior and physical attributes to ensure animal health and confirm appropriate phenotype; reports any findings.
• Ensures biosecurity.
• Coordinates with Customer Service on scheduling and order status.
• Basic Animal Husbandry
• Physical job/on feet/climbing stairs to work on second level/repetitive motion
• Need Ability to work with tablet computers
• Attention to detail required
• Strict Animal Welfare compliance – the health and treatment of our animals is paramount
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline
• Previous work with animals preferred but not required
  
  

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilmington, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.25 - $21.25/hr.
