A Laboratory Technician position in Chesterfield, Missouri is now available through Adecco Healthcare and Life Science. We are seeking a Product Development Technician to work in our formulation development department. Develop & formulate pharmaceutical and veterinary health care products.

Contract type: Temp-hire

Work hours: Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm

Hourly pay rate: $25.00/hr. (flexible depending on your level of experience)

Job Essential Duties:

Formulation containing misc. actives using S/K technologies.

Setting formulations on stability.

Checking stability samples.

Obtaining various raw materials from supplies as need for formulating products.

Participating with calls with clients.

Post appropriate documentation in lab notebooks.

Discussion with other S/K technicians.

Detail Oriented and can follow directions

Good math and communication skills

Assist in product & process development from lab to commercial scale-up

Carry out supervisor defined lab experiments. Weigh materials & document records accurately.

Need good laboratory skills, knowledge of lab equipment & follow cleaning procedures.

Qualifications:

Minimum Associate Degree or above in science, chemistry, animal science, food science or pharmaceutical

Experience in human pharmaceutical, veterinary, food product development helpful or lab or pharma manufacturing.
