Responsibilities
- Develop and compound flavors based on specific recipes and customer requirements, ensuring precise pipetting of no more than a kilo.
- Weigh and mix raw materials, including chemicals and essential oils, to create flavor batches.
- Conduct sensory evaluations and stability tests to ensure flavor quality and consistency.
- Maintain detailed records of formulations, processes, and test results.
- Operate and maintain lab equipment used in flavor compounding.
- Collaborate closely with R&D teams to develop new flavors and improve existing ones.
- Proficiency in pipetting and laboratory techniques.
- Experience in sample preparation and management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or Chemical Engineering.
- 2 years of experience in small-scale bench-top compounding in the food, flavor, or fragrance industry.
- 2 years of pipetting experience.
- Ability to work overtime if needed.
