Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect lab samples to ensure they are intact and undamaged.
- Store samples correctly in designated areas within the fridge.
- Accurately label samples for proper identification.
- Work with urine samples on a regular basis.
- Stand for prolonged periods during night shifts.
- Experience in production, medical processing, and data entry.
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques such as aliquoting, pipetting, and accessioning.
- Familiarity with clinical laboratory processes, wet chemistry, microbiology, and analytic techniques.
- Previous experience as a Lab Technician, Lab Assistant, or Phlebotomist is advantageous.
- Comfortable working with bodily samples and handling heavy lab machinery.
