As a Junior Network Technician, you will provide entry-level technical support for the installation, testing, and maintenance of the network infrastructure. This role assists senior technicians and engineers in deploying and sustaining the physical and logical network components that enable secure, high-availability communications and IT services for mission-critical operations. Working as part of a multidisciplinary infrastructure team, the Junior Network Technician contributes to structured cabling activities, hardware installations, connectivity troubleshooting, and equipment configuration tasks across both Inside Plant (ISP) and network operations environments.
Position will be located at Los Angeles SFB.
This position is contingent upon successful contract award to V2X.

Responsibilities
Major Job Activities:
- Assists engineers and technicians with placement of infrastructure components, pre-configuration.
- Performs tasks involving physical labor at installation sites to aid daily operations.
- Assists in movement of equipment, racks, boxes, pallets.
- Assists in cleanup and restoration of facilities to preinstall conditions.
- Dispose of waste materials.
- Performs site preparation and implementation activities required to implement approved ISP / OSP solution.
- Assists in the installation of ISP / OSP cabling, installation of racks/cabinets and equipment.
- Follows processes and procedures provided by management or lead engineers.
- Performs cable dressing, labeling, and documentation.
- Assists in restoration activities to return site to previous condition before project work.
- Tracks task status to provide updates to management or lead engineers.
- Work is performed under supervision.
- General user capabilities with MS software applications required (primarily Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and MS Teams or SharePoint).
- Proficient with AutoCAD.

Qualifications
Education / Certifications:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 3 years of experience performing as a Network Technician with a High School Diploma.
- Experience supporting DoD projects, specifically network modernization projects.
- This position requires an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret (Tier 3) level clearance.
- General user capabilities with MS software applications required (primarily Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and MS Teams or SharePoint).
- Proficient with AutoCAD.
