Job Summary

Belcan is hiring manufacturing engineers through our Academic to Industry (A2I) program. These roles offer immersive, hands-on experience in a complex aerospace manufacturing environment, supported by a senior engineering team mentor.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in hands-on training and mentorship from experienced engineers.
• Assist in developing and executing manufacturing work instructions and documentation.
• Learn and apply industry-standard manufacturing systems and processes.
• Support shop floor operations and address day-to-day production challenges.
• Report and assist in resolving quality and non-conformance issues.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor"s or Master"s degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Aerospace, or similar).
• Recent graduate with 0-1 years of professional experience (including internships)
• Eagerness to learn technical manufacturing engineering concepts and tools.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced production environment.
• Due to the nature of the work US Citizenship required
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing or aerospace setting.
• Exposure to CAD tools (Catia, NX, SolidWorks) in academic or project settings.
• Familiarity with basic quality assurance or production engineering practices.
• Active involvement in academic engineering projects or organizations.
  
  

Belcan provides a competitive pay and benefits package. Benefits offered MAY include health, dental, vision, and life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and paid leave required by law. Salary guidelines for similar roles at Belcan are $32.00-36.00 per hour. Guidelines vary based on many factors including but not limited to education, qualifications, experience, discipline, geographic location, market, and business considerations.
