We are seeking a Junior Architect to join our dynamic team in support of building design and production. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, including governmental buildings such as courthouses and athletic facilities, educational facilities for K-12 and higher education, as well as healthcare facilities like hospitals.
Responsibilities
Our work environment is relaxed and prioritizes employee well-being. The office is located in Boca, currently with 6 employees and plans to expand rapidly. The expectation is to work in the office for 40 hours per week, with a flexible schedule from 8am/9am to 5pm/6pm. Summer Fridays offer an adjusted schedule from Memorial Day to Labor Day, with Monday to Thursday hours from 8am to 6pm and Friday from 8am to 12pm. We offer a supportive culture with opportunities for growth, including Lunch & Learn sessions every Wednesday, 10 days of PTO, 8-10 paid holidays, annual performance reviews, and a yearly bonus.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to and supervise the production of design and contract documents for various building types.
- Coordinate with staff to meet project goals, objectives, and schedules.
- Assist in project management tasks, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Manage relationships with design consultants, owner representatives, public officials, and review officials.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of project documents.
- Minimum of 1 years of architectural production experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Strong experience in architectural production and spatial/environmental design.
- Exceptional design and technical abilities.
- Strong sketching and freehand drawing skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver effective presentations.
- Experience with municipal/public sector projects.
- On track to obtain architectural licensure.
- Ability to take projects from concept to completion.
- Understanding of building construction and public works.
