Capgemini is looking for Senior Java Springboot developers for for fulltime, hybrid position based in West Chester PA

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable and reliable cloud-based applications
• Develop and documents the framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards;
• Work with multiple teams in different locations and time zones;
• Design reusable frameworks - Environment management and layout design
• Assist in investigating production issues and provide solutions
• Perform unit, integration and parallel testing.
• Analyze and understand existing programs, job flows, and components
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong development skills in Core / Advanced Java, and Java springboot and microservices
• Strong in Java SDK 1.8, Java SDK 11 (not mandatory), Spring Boot (Embedded Tomcat), REST & SOAP API skills
• Experience in Core Java, J2EE, SOA based Web Services, RESTful Web Services , Hibernate, Spring,MVC, XSD, XML and WSDL, DB, Microservices;
• Extensive development experience with Web Services (SOAP and REST).
• Expertise in Java core concepts and features, including multi-threading and good understanding of coding standards, should be able to carry out code review and enforce coding standards with the team.
• Expertise in Spring Boot framework and Microservice architecture, with in-depth understanding of Spring Boot features, concepts and constructs and their efficient usage scenarios.
• Good understanding of design concepts and solutioning for given situation pertaining to high volume data processing applications.
• Experience with basic usage of Linux/Unix commands on server for troubleshooting.
• Experience in handling production issues and providing appropriate resolutions.
• Basic understanding in AWS cloud platform (like S3, AWS Kinesis etc.)
