In this role you will assist Vermeer teams in building innovative, high-quality software that complies with coding standards and solid technical design. We’re looking for someone that has interest in learning skills applied across the software development life cycle including, but not limited to, planning, design, programming, testing, deployment, and support.
What You’ll Do
ONSITE: A team member’s day-to-day work is best done on a Vermeer campus. If work content can be occasionally completed at an offsite location, discuss potential arrangements with your manager.

In this role you will assist Vermeer teams in building innovative, high-quality software that complies with coding standards and solid technical design. We’re looking for someone that has interest in learning skills applied across the software development life cycle including, but not limited to, planning, design, programming, testing, deployment, and support.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver value to customers through design and delivery of software and solutions that may include front end interfaces, backend services, and logical/physical data storage.
- Maintain all necessary CI/CD steps to deliver changes with high confidence of quality with streamlined effort.
- Collaborate with other team members using techniques like pair programming, software engineering community events, or mob sessions.
- Understand test-driven development and be able to create automated tests.
- Begin to demonstrate the requirements of well-engineered software with a focus on security and maintainability while preserving the integrity of company, customer, and dealer data.
- Work with a team of fellow interns to demonstrate learning through creation and presentation of a product.
- High School diploma required.
- Current student pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field.
- Knowledge of C#/.Net, HTML, and Typescript/JavaScript frameworks (Angular preferred).
- Interest in developing, deploying, debugging and/or consuming API’s and cloud components (Azure preferred).
- Knowledge of different data stores such as blob storage, relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience using common data formats such as JSON, XML, and YAML.
- No travel is expected of this position.
