The IT Compliance Analyst manages the timely execution of IT General Controls (“ITGC”) compliance audits. Oversees the creation and management of mitigation activities for findings. Recommends improvements to self-assessments based on updated organizational procedures. Identifies risks due to gaps in assessments and expanding audit requirements. Directs and coordinates the validation of company activity for regulatory controls concerning Sarbanes-Oxley (“SOX”) and internal IT processes. Facilitates the execution of ITGC SOX and IT Application Control audit work by internal and external audit agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute IT Compliance monthly self-assessments in accordance with established audit controls, policies, and procedures. Document audit findings, observations, and recommendations in clear and concise IT Compliance reports, supported by sufficient evidence and analysis.
• Oversees the implementation of corrective actions and recommendations to ensure timely resolution of audit findings and continuous improvement of internal controls and reduction in risk to the organization.
• Approves change request tickets in accordance with internal requirements.
• Manages the process of documentation and auditing of data for completion of audits for SOX and other audits as required.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of progressive work experience in an Information Technology role.
• Minimum of two (2) years working experience of IT compliance or regulatory auditing.
• CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) preferred.
• Proficient in Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and ITGC controls.
• Experience in auditing IT systems, IT General Controls (ITGC), and IT Application Controls (ITAC).
• High-level understanding of the following:
• IT Operations & Strategy
• IT Service Continuity
• Regulatory Compliance
• Business Intelligence and Analytics
• Ability to recognize and communicate potential control related issues in a timely manner.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions for recommendation.
• Strong working computer knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel required).
• Strong understanding and technical knowledge of auditing database, application, operating system, and network security.
