Overview
We are currently seeking an Investment Analyst Intern in our Chicago office.

The Investment Analyst Intern will support financial analysis, market research, due diligence, and investment committee materials, while gaining practical experience in private equity/venture capital underwriting and transaction execution.

Responsibilities
- Work with senior investment team to structure transactions and negotiate deal terms and legal documents.
- Support the preparation of detailed pro-forma cash flow, DCF, and development models utilizing sophisticated Microsoft Excel skills.
- Conduct market research, analyze market data, and present findings internally to inform the investment process.
- Coordinate due diligence review and the closing process and summarize / present findings.
- Support the preparation of Investment Committee Memoranda and participate in Investment Committee meetings.
- Provide support and coordination required for periodic investor reporting, capital calls, quarterly valuations, etc.
- Assist in the preparation of fund materials, including modeling various fund level structures, preparing marketing collateral, and researching peer funds in the industry.
- Maintain contact database and log of opportunities under review.
- Seeking a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field preferred
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial modeling is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in private equity, venture capital, and transaction execution
- Availability to work a 12-week internship schedule preferred
