Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Drafting and editing clear, concise communications tailored to diverse internal audiences
- Developing communication plans based on audience, level of impact, and timing considerations
- Creating content across multiple formats, including written communications, graphics, and video
- Supporting newsletter content development and internal communications template creation
- Assisting with production of short video communication products, including coordination and content support
- Supporting planning and promotional efforts for departmental team-building programs
- Conducting internal communications channel audits and identifying optimization opportunities
- Contributing to project planning enhancements and workflow efficiencies
- Publishing and updating content within internal digital platforms
- Participating in team meetings and brainstorming sessions
- Other duties as assigned
- Currently enrolled in a full-time, accredited public or private College/University
- Pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, English, or a related field
- Must be in good academic standing
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or national, asylee, refugee, or lawful permanent resident.
- Work 37.5 hours per week and commit to a minimum of 375 hours for the duration of the internship.
- Must be committed to completing the duration of the internship from June 2026 – August 2026.
- Strong writing and editing skills required
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word and PowerPoint)
- Preferred: Experience with video editing
- Preferred: Experience with graphic design
