- Project manage Cabin industrialization deliverables as part of the integrated program team.
- Develop and execute industrialization plans in accordance with Cabin standards and program goals.
- Represent the industrialization team in customer and program meetings as required.
- Create the production element of the industrial dossier, including Manufacturing Bill of Materials, Routers, and standardized work instructions.
- Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing teams to optimize production processes for each product type.
- Coordinate with Facilities to ensure the allocation of necessary production floor space and support as per the schedule.
- Provide feedback to the Design group for Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA).
- Integrate plans for the design, manufacture, and implementation of new tools or prototypes from tooling engineering teams on new programs.
- Develop a detailed phasing schedule for the implementation of new lines.
- Develop Cycle time and Takt Time standards and plans to achieve them.
- Maintain industrialization metrics in line with Cabin standard KPIs and communicate performance regularly.
- Analyze and manage industrial process and product risks during development.
- Champion and implement Lean principles.
- Lead and participate in Kaizen and 3P events to develop improvements and plans.
- Support departmental and personal objectives and measurements.
- Proven experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in design and tooling, including fixtures and jigs.
- Experience with Solidworks and Catia.
- Strong knowledge of primary processes like CNC machining, layup, and crush core.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 4-5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient with Windows Operating System®, Office XP®, and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of airworthiness regulations and LEAN tools, such as value stream mapping (VSM) and "5S".
