The Import/Export Coordinator will be responsible for supporting import and export shipments for all international repair orders, pieces, as well as part purchases by obtaining and verifying for accuracy the required proof of export documents, executing ERP system transactions, completing temporary Import Bond (TIB) filings, and liaising with the trade Compliance Team to confirm licensing requirements. They will serve as the key program team member ensuring consistent communication between various departments and program leads to facilitate timely and compliant imports of international orders. The Import/Export Coordinator will perform the following functions * All other duties as assigned

- Coordinate and track shipments of goods for import and export.
- Assist the Director of Supply Chain & Logistics with document preparation
- Monitor shipments for compliance with regulations and international trade laws.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all shipments and transactions.
- Resolve any issues or delays which arise in the shipment process.
- Acquire AES and AWB documentation from freight forwarders and review for compliance.
- Follow-up as needed with freight forwarders and supply any necessary information to facilitate return of required.
- Import/Export clearances

Qualifications
Qualification: What you will need to be successful in this role:
- High School Diploma /GED required
- Working knowledge of ITAR and EAR.
- At least 2 years' experience in US import and export regulations and procedures or equivalent education.
- Must be able to Read & Write in English Fluently
- Knowledge of International Trade Compliance and Customs management and the effects of trade compliance activities across responsible areas.
- Strong interpersonal and business communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong goal achievement skills.
- Knowledge and understanding in International Business or Aerospace preferred.
- Licensed Customs Broker a plus.
- Ability to work in a team environment and solve problems.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Regulatory knowledge and understanding.
- MS Office products knowledge, Advanced Excel Skills
- Collaborative skills and ability to gain trust and confidence from peers, leadership, and subordinates.
