What Youβll Do:
- π Recruitment Support:Work with hiring managers to support recruitment efforts, including posting internal and external job openings.
- π» Job Board Management:Post positions on various job boards such as Indeed, Better team and our Paycom ATS.
- π Campus Recruiting:Build and maintain relationships with colleges and universities to support recruitment efforts.
- π€ Job Fairs:Attend job fairs to source active candidates and represent IAHD as well as walk in interviews held at IAHD.
- π Screening & Coordination:Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- π New Hire Coordination:Schedule candidates for new hire paperwork, background checks, fingerprinting, and drug testing.
- π Research Recruiting Sources:Continuously explore and recommend new recruitment sources for active and passive candidates.
- ποΈ Onboarding Administration:Maintain and complete new hire application packets, ensuring all forms are filled out and returned on time, including drug testing, fingerprinting, and other mandatory documents.
- π£οΈ Communication:Follow up with new hires and managers to ensure paperwork is complete and employees are cleared to begin work.
- π New Hire Maintenance:Create timesheets, submit to payroll, and ensure new hire information is entered into HRIS systems.
- πΌοΈ Documentation:Create employee ID badges and maintain a photo database, scan new hire packets into the system, and track evaluations.
- π Track Evaluations:Create a spreadsheet to track evaluations for each department/employee, following up with managers/directors on missing or incorrect evaluations.
- Assist with special projects and other tasks to ensure the HR department runs smoothly.
- β Education:College degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
- β Experience:Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Human Resources required.
- β Skills:Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and HRIS systems.
- β Travel:Must be willing to drive between the Bronx and Westchester County as needed.
- β Professionalism:Must maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
- β Vaccination:Must be fully vaccinated (COVID-19).
