Position Overview

The Temporary HR Training Support Specialist will assist the HR Training team in creating and updating documentation, supporting learning initiatives, and ensuring smooth transitions across various modules. This role focuses on process documentation, project support, and collaboration with multiple departments to enhance staff development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and update Microsoft Desktop Procedures using Shelf to ensure accurate and accessible documentation.
• Collaborate with HR Training and cross-functional teams to maintain consistency and fluidity in training materials across different modules.
• Assist in the design, development, and delivery of new training initiatives during designated project periods.
• Review incoming requests for document changes or additions in Shelf and work with supervisor teams to address gaps in learning content.
• Apply advanced knowledge of curriculum development and decision tree processes to improve training resources and staff development.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Preferred experience with Shelf software and familiarity with learning management systems (LMS).
• 2–4 years of training experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of curriculum development and ability to create structured workflows.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• Facilitating soft skills-related content.
• Supporting training initiatives and managing documentation processes.
  
  

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Long Beach, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
