Our client is seeking a Hardware Engineer to join their team. As a Hardware Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative projects.
Job Title: Hardware Engineer
Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa (Onsite Only)
What's the Job?
- Design and implement high-reliability electronic systems, including PCBs, embedded systems, and power electronics.
- Lead and perform all aspects of circuit card design lifecycle activities, including requirements capture, schematic capture, and component selection.
- Generate PCB layout constraint guidelines and oversee the routing, layout, fabrication, and assembly of complex designs.
- Create test plans, conduct root cause analysis, and test electronic circuits and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues during development and testing phases.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing high-speed circuits with FPGA, processors, and DDR memory.
- Proficiency in schematic and PCB design tools such as Siemens Mentor Graphics, Altium, or Cadence Allegro.
- Experience with military compliance processes and standards like DO-254.
- Familiarity with Agile for Hardware Development and requirement management tools like IBM Doors.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with testing and integration of designs.
