This role primarily partners with the video team but requires enough design capability to create assets from scratch when needed. This person acts as a bridge between motion, video, and design, delivering broadcast quality animation across multiple platforms - including commercials, social media, internal presentations, and large-scale event screens (e.g., Team USA / LA28-related initiatives).
- Creating motion graphics for:
- Commercials
- Social media (bonus if strong here)
- Live presentations / event screens
- Internal videos and decks
- Developing video graphics packages (lower thirds, transitions, animated backgrounds)
- Design Motion
- If motion assets don't exist, the designer must:
- Concept and design assets (logos, icons, backgrounds, slides) Then bring them to life with animation
- Translating static brand/design work into thoughtful motion behavior
- Presentation & Internal Content
- Animated slides and presentation visuals
- Digital signage and internal display content
- GSuite-based presentation backgrounds and animated elements
Skills And Requirements
- 5 years of professional experience in motion graphics and animation, ideally from Agencies, corporate environments, graphics houses, etc.
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator and After Effects).
- Strong working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator for asset preparation.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (GSuite)
- AI & Trends: A demonstrated interest in Artificial Intelligence tools and a passion for staying ahead of motion design trends.
- Excellent communication skills, extreme attention to detail, and the ability to work resourcefully to maximize production value.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Motion Graphics, Graphic Design, or Animation, or equivalent, is required.
