Gas Chromatography Chemist (Pharmaceutical QC | NYC)

We’re hiring a Gas Chromatography Chemist to perform advanced laboratory testing using Gas Chromatography (GC) and support method development, validation, and compliance activities in a cGMP environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently perform GC testing of raw materials and finished products
• Operate GC instruments with headspace and direct injection capabilities
• Develop and validate GC methods; execute process and cleaning validations
• Maintain accurate cGMP-compliant documentation (lab notebooks, chromatograms, reports)
• Support investigations, audits, and regulatory inspections
• Mentor junior chemists and promote lab safety protocols
  
  

Must-Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related scientific discipline
• 4–5 years of laboratory experience (pharmaceutical preferred)
• Expertise in Gas Chromatography (GC) method development and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with cGMP standards and QC procedures
• Strong technical writing and communication skills
  
  

Preferred

• Experience with HPLC, Mass Spectrometry, and wet chemistry techniques
• Knowledge of FDA and DEA compliance requirements

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Laurelton, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
