Job Description
We are looking for a Front Office Medical Receptionist for a well‑established cardiology practice in Temecula, CA. This role will serve as the first point of contact for patients, supporting check‑ins, phones, scheduling, and light triage reporting while working alongside an experienced front‑office team. You’ll help ensure a calm, organized experience for an older patient population and keep the clinic running smoothly day to day.
Job Logistics
Shifts / Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Work model: Onsite
6-Month Contract with Potential to Hire
Day To Day Responsibilities
Greet patients and visitors and provide a calm, welcoming front‑desk experience
Answer multi‑line phones and route calls appropriately
Schedule patient appointments, testing, and hospital procedures
Check patients in and out across two suites
Verify and update patient information and documentation in the EMR
Assist with a small amount of triage calls by taking information and relaying to clinical staff
Collaborate with medical assistants, providers, and other front‑office staff to support smooth daily flow
Maintain confidentiality and compliance with clinic policies and HIPAA
Support general office tasks such as filing and basic administrative work
Compensation
Compensation: $19/hr-$21/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
