Required Qualifications Of The Front Office Medical Receptionist
- 2 years of recent high-volume medical front office experience required
- Scheduling and insurance eligibility experience required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- Greet patients and complete check-in/check-out procedures
- Collect detailed insurance information, registration forms, and copays
- Verify insurance
- Answer incoming calls
- Schedule/reschedule appointments
- Other duties as assigned
