Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship
- Enrolled in Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) major
- Experience with digital design and VHDL or Verilog coding
- Proficient in C/C Experience (internship or extensive classroom experience) with Xilinx, Altera or Microsemi/Microchip FPGAs
- Experience (internship or extensive classroom experience) with Xilinx Vivado or Microsemi Libero software tools
- Familiar with aspects of secure boot
- Familiar with cryptographic algorithms
- Familiar with RTOS’s
- Support the architecture and design of FPGA-based security modules for computing systems
- Digital design (VHDL) for FPGA/SoC implementations
- Embedded software design (C/C ) for softcore processors in FPGAs and/or ARM-based processors in Xilinx or Microsemi SoCs
- Develop testbenches for VHDL designs
- Assist with hardware integration and test
- Assist with developing software utilities to interface with FPGA designs
