Job Responsibilities

• Perform formulation and characterization testing using mills, mixers, homogenizers, ovens, pH meters, microscopes, particle size analyzers, rheometers, and related lab equipment
• Prepare batches and maintain accurate laboratory notebooks and logs (materials, weights, batch numbers, dates, etc.)
• Enter formulations, recipes, and test results into the LIMS system
• Analyze and interpret performance, stability, and characterization data
• Progress toward independent project work, including proposing formulations, designing experiments, and generating technical reports
• Utilize Microsoft Office applications and learn instrument-specific software as required
• Clearly communicate results, observations, and recommendations to supervisor and team members
• Collaborate within the Global Innovation team and support site safety initiatives
• Report directly to the Formulations Specialist
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor"s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
• 1-3 years of relevant laboratory experience (industry, internship, or academic research)
• Hands-on experience working with chemicals and analytical instrumentation
• Familiarity with biological agents or reagents is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new digital tools and software systems
• Working knowledge of chemical hygiene, biosafety practices, and SDS usage
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Detail-oriented with a track record of producing accurate work in a fast-paced lab setting
