Formulation R&D Chemist
Job Description
We are seeking a Formulation R&D Chemist with strong technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, overseeing R&D projects from concept to commercialization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize formulations.
- Supervise and mentor R&D staff.
- Manage scale-up processes and troubleshoot manufacturing challenges.
- Ensure compliance with FDA, EPA, and cGMP regulations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and maintain technical documentation.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or related field.
- 8 years of formulation experience or 5 years with a Master's degree.
- Strong regulatory knowledge and analytical skills.
- Excellent project management and communication abilities.
- Proficiency with instruments such as pH meters, viscometers, FTIR, and HPLC.
- Leadership skills preferred.
- Experience in relevant industries such as personal care
- Ability to multitask and transfer formulations from bench to pilot, troubleshooting manufacturing processes.
