The Financial Planning & Analysis Intern at UGI Corporation will support the corporate FP&A team in financial forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting across UGI's diversified energy portfolio including AmeriGas, UGI Utilities, and UGI Energy Services. This 3-month internship (June - August 2026) will provide hands-on experience in budgeting processes, presentation development, analysis, and financial modeling while working alongside experienced FP&A professionals supporting a Fortune 500 company.

Job Summary
The Financial Planning & Analysis Intern at UGI Corporation will support the corporate FP&A team in financial forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting across UGI's diversified energy portfolio including AmeriGas, UGI Utilities, and UGI Energy Services. This 3-month internship (June - August 2026) will provide hands-on experience in budgeting processes, presentation development, analysis, and financial modeling while working alongside experienced FP&A professionals supporting a Fortune 500 company.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support Financial Forecasting & Analysis by assisting in the preparation of monthly variance reports, analyzing budget-to-actual performance across business units, and creating executive summaries highlighting key financial drivers and trends.
- Assist with Various Analysis including gathering data for project evaluations, supporting ROI calculations and investment decision modeling.
- Contribute to Executive Reporting by ensuring consistency and accuracy across presentation materials.
- Support Budget & Planning Activities by collecting inputs from business unit leads, building financial models and scenarios in Excel, and assisting with quarterly forecast updates and annual planning processes.
- Conduct Ad Hoc Business Analysis including researching industry trends and peer benchmarking, supporting special projects related to operational performance, and assisting with SEC reporting preparation and regulatory filings.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Advanced Excel skills and Powerpoint Skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with attention to detail for identifying financial trends and variances.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex financial information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Intellectual curiosity and proactive problem-solving mindset with ability to work both independently and collaboratively across functions.
- Currently enrolled as college student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related quantitative field.
- Demonstrated coursework in finance.
- Available to work at least 24-40 hours per week from June 2026 through August 2026.
