Job Summary
We are seeking a SR Corporate Executive Chef to support the culinary team within the senior living/healthcare community sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops and implements operational, regional, and corporate culinary plans
- Provides hands-on training programs to assure consistency of programs across the region
- Develops the Culinary Support Team (Regional Chefs) within the Region
- Routinely conducts unit visits and completes required reporting according to policy
- Participates in the sales process and acquisition of new business
- Manages SG&A budget in a fiscally responsible manner
- Complies with all regulatory agency (local, state, federal) as well as department sanitation policies
- Bachelor's or Associates degree in Culinary Arts - required
- Ten years of progressive BOH food service management experience - required
- Multi-unit culinary management experience- required at least 8 seperate locations
- Culinary experience in a senior living or healthcare setting- preferred
- Three years P&L / budget experience - required
- Expert knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost?controls and presentation
- Must be hands-on manager
- Must be experienced with computers to include Microsoft Office Suite
- ServSafe certified - required
- 85% travel- required
