Are you interested in planning events at the most magical place on Earth? As an Event Services Manager with The Walt Disney Company, you will prioritize and arrange all logistical aspects of conventions and events, from planning, Banquet Event Order preparation, to onsite execution.
As an Event Services Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact for our convention clients, taking them through the event planning process and the onsite Walt Disney World experience. This is done throughout our Resorts, Convention Centers, Theme Parks, ESPN Wide World of Sports, Water Parks, and Disney Springs. Collaboration, organization, communication, multi-tasking, and guest service is vital, while customizing and selling Walt Disney World experiences.
The Event Services Manager will report to the Event Services Director.
This is a Full-Time position.

What You Will Do
- Coordinate and implement meetings and all events
- Handle Group and Convention accounts and prioritize events across Walt Disney World Resorts and Parks.
- Handle contracts, billing, room blocks, food and beverage, audio visual, entertainment, theme park events, theme park tickets, transportation, and all logistics.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and partners, internally and externally, using resources and influencing partners, to provide client solutions
- Build ways to surprise and delight our Guests, and grow repeat business
- Maintain confidential information
- Service groups with a high level of complexity and be knowledgeable of all products and services
- Approach problems across multiple teams in creative ways to achieve desired outcomes
- Collaborate with a multitude of clients, both internal and external, and clearly articulate needs to bring forward solutions for partners and clients
- At least two years of management experience in a resort environment; Event Services, Catering, Food and Beverage, Front Office, or Theme Parks
- Creativity to find solutions in new ways and improve the Guest and Client experiences
- Successful sales of food and beverage, and organizational skills
- Talent for developing partnerships and work with all team members in the organization
- Proven Guest service skills
- Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Understanding of food and beverage, production and event logistics in order to identify upselling opportunities
- At least three years of Food & Beverage Management, Event Services, or Catering Operations
- Knowledge of Convention resort function space and all Theme Park venues
- Experience conducting planning sessions and handle timelines for all operating areas and clients
- Understanding of the Entertainment line of business
- Experience with Group & Convention contract management
- Knowledge of Walt Disney World procedures
