Job Title: Construction Estimator About the Role

Actalent is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in identifying project opportunities, preparing accurate bids, and supporting our preconstruction efforts. This is a great opportunity for someone with a couple of years of experience who's ready to grow their career in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular in-person and phone communication.
• Monitor plan centers daily to identify relevant projects in your assigned market.
• Analyze project drawings and specifications to determine material and equipment needs.
• Prepare accurate and timely project proposals aligned with customer requirements.
• Review bid documents for completeness and compliance.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to gather pricing, availability, and technical details.
• Ensure all bids are submitted on time and meet all requirements.
• Stay informed on federal, state, and local regulations impacting our industry.
• Participate in weekly team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
• Manage shifting priorities and schedules while maintaining professionalism and profitability.
  
  

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in estimating, project coordination, or a related construction role.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with construction materials, equipment, and terminology.
• Proficiency with estimating software is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $43.00/hr.
