- Replace deteriorating cables and move overhead lines to underground settings.
- Reconduct existing distribution lines and replace aging poles.
- Perform structural analysis of poles and guying.
- Coordinate electric demand, fault currents, and protective devices.
- 0-1 years of electric utility distribution design experience.
- Proficiency in distribution design, BOUD, Maximo, Smallworld, Bentley Open Utility Designer, and MicroStation.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in the electric utility industry.
- Working knowledge of primary and secondary distribution systems and utility standards.
- Understanding of basic engineering theories and principles.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals.
