Engineering Test Technician
Job Description
The Engineering Test Technician is responsible for setting up and executing test cases to validate new high-power AC power products, including UPS, Static Switch, and PDU. The technician will set up the unit under test and instrumentation according to the test plan, operate the unit, collect data, and make observations regarding performance. All collected data and notes are entered into test results. The technician participates in daily meetings, maintains a clean and safe work area, and contributes to maintaining the safety of all test labs.
Responsibilities
This role is based in a manufacturing environment within a clean facility, working alongside 12 other engineers and technicians. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7am to 4pm

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of DELAWARE, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $31.00/hr.

Engineering Test Technician
Job Description

Responsibilities
- Set up the unit under test and other equipment, involving the connection of large cables up to 50lbs.
- Set up instrumentation, including oscilloscopes, power meters, CTs, voltage probes, and other equipment.
- Execute test cases, operate the unit under test, and collect data while documenting observations.
- Troubleshoot and correct issues with test setups and units under test.
- Follow 5S and safety policies.
- Suggest opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Associate of Science in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, or military certification.
- 1 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Broad knowledge of electrical and mechanical test techniques.
- Experience with 208/230/480V/600V 3-phase 60/50 Hz wiring and equipment.
- Experience with 120V 1-phase 60Hz wiring and equipment.
- Experience with instrumentation and low voltage wiring.
- Experience with electrical safety tools and techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Mechanical skills for assembling and disassembling electrical equipment.
- Ability to read electronic and electrical schematics.
- Good troubleshooting skills for AC and DC power circuits.
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Electronics.
- 2 years of electronics experience.
- Experience in electronic testing.
- Knowledge of electrical circuitry.
