Responsibilities
As part of our collaborative, multi-disciplinary team, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical engineering solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the schedule and technical quality of assigned engineering tasks.
- Building familiarity with client expectations, scope, budget, and timelines.
- Identifying and communicating scope and design changes promptly.
- Supporting startup activities and coordinating work with other team members and discipline leads.
- Producing detailed deliverables such as: Installation details, motor control center single lines, electric room layouts, motor control elementaries, connection diagrams, cable schedules, control panel layouts, grounding, lighting, and power plans.
- Electrical design experience in building electrical systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a multi-discipline team.
- Experience with Revit and MV design strongly desired.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering
- At least 4 years of engineering experience in building electrical systems??
- Experience with power system software (preferably ETAP)
- Knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) & IEEE standards
- Understanding of electrical power system equipment/components, such as switchgears, transformers, panelboards, generators, UPS, etc.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams?
- At least one year of design experience for semiconductors, data centers, or mission critical facilities
- Medium Voltage (MV) design experience
- Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills??
- Team leadership and client interaction experience
