At Reality Labs - Research (RL-R), our goal is to explore, innovate and design novel interfaces and hardware subsystems for the next generation of virtual, augmented, and mixed reality experiences. We are specifically looking for a candidate with a broad set of experiences, including embedded design, analog/mixed signal design, and camera experience. The systems we work with could have ASICs, microcontrollers, microprocessors, FPGAs from simple to large, displays, audio, inertial sensors, haptic interfaces, image sensors, and high-speed I/O. The ideal candidate would be comfortable designing mixed high-speed digital circuit boards, be experienced with troubleshooting at the board and system level, and have experience with display driver ICs.

Job Responsibilities
- Develop schematics, guide board layout, assemble, test, debug, and integrate multi-component electrical systems using industry-standard simulation and design packages such as Cadence, Altium, MATLAB, and SPICE
- Successfully bring up and debug opto-electrical systems that include image sensors, display driver ICs, lasers, depth sensors, switching power supplies, or low/high-speed digital communication interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, MIPI and USB SS
- Able to adapt and respond to changing priorities
- Simulate and test machine/structure/system operation.

- 5 years of industry experience in hardware design or electrical engineering roles, including use of schematic and board layout tools and bench test equipment such as oscilloscopes/logic analyzers/function generators
- Successfully bring up and debug opto-electrical systems that include image sensors, display driver ICs, lasers, depth sensors, switching power supplies, or low/high-speed digital communication interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, MIPI and USB SS Analog circuit design experience
