Job Summary
The Ecommerce Live Sales Assistant supports the execution of live sales events by assisting with sourcing and preparation, show setup, live broadcast operations, and post-sale processes. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that live sales events run smoothly, remain engaging, and deliver high-quality customer experience across various live selling platforms.
Essential Job Functions
- Assist the Live Show Specialist with the setup and breakdown of live show environments, including lighting, camera equipment, and product displays.
- Help prepare and organize merchandise for live sales, ensuring all items are clean, presentable, and properly labeled.
- Support live broadcasts by managing inventory flow, coordinating featured items, and fulfilling real-time operational needs.
- Engage with customers via live show chat by responding to questions, providing accurate product information, and encouraging purchasing decisions through positive, informative interaction.
- Assist in tracking sold items and maintaining accurate records of inventory and sales during and after live events.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area before, during, and after each live sale.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. A background in fashion, marketing, or communications, along with prior related work experience, is preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Confident and engaging presence; comfortable speaking and presenting on camera.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Capable of multitasking and performing well under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Verifiable experience in identifying high-quality and designer brand merchandise
- Social media experience is a plus, particularly with platforms used for live selling or product promotion.
- Prior experience in ecommerce, retail, or live selling platforms is preferred, particularly for candidates who have been actively involved in customer engagement or sales within these environments.
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, move, and carry merchandise weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Manual dexterity to assist with setup and manage merchandise handling.
- Visual acuity to help assess product quality and presentation standards.
- Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks.
- Ability to work in warehouse environments with varying temperatures, high noise and/or dust levels, and potentially slippery surfaces.
