Job Description
The Director of Operations Finance will be responsible for focusing on the overall financial operations of the organization, and for developing and executing strategies that drive efficiency and profitability. Job duties:
- Manages all Operations Finance activities including preparation of the group budget and forecast as well as the manufacturing long range plan.
- Prepares Product Standards; monitors assumptions and recommends changes/updates.
- Prepares variance analysis including price/volume/mix.
- Drives continuous improvement efforts and initiates enhancements, both process and system related.
- Advises/assists manufacturing and supply chain managers with budget development.
- Manages Project Proposal Request process (Ringi) including Capital Justification and ROI calculation for manufacturing investments.
- Prepares financial statement variance commentaries and presents to TAH Financial Management.
- Publishes internal management reporting (including regional profitability) and commentaries as required.
- Responsible for worldwide reporting of all manufacturing plants (Costa Rica, California and China).
- Oversees Inventory Analysis.
- Responsible for internal management reporting.
- Coordinates worldwide tax reporting and corresponding analysis related to transfer pricing as well as transfer pricing calculation support.
- Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance; MBA or CPA desirable.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Finance or Accounting.
- High level of technical knowledge including previous experience with standard cost preparation and variance analysis.
- Ability to work with Managers and Executives throughout the company in analyzing financial situations.
- Ability to assign/monitor work and motivate staff.
- Very strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills including Excel Modeling.
- Proficient with MS Office, PCs, spreadsheet and accounting software.
- Experience in medical device field (including manufacturing).
- Experience as a plant controller.
- Experience in JDE World and Hyperion Financial Planning.
