Director of Technical Operations
The Director of Technical Operations (Aseptic) is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our Aseptic lines including their batch rooms. The responsibilities includes but not limited to setting the program for preventative and predict maintenance, designing the maintenance contracts and responsible for its execution, plant maintenance audits, troubleshooting plant issues related to equipment, management of FAT for batching room and Aseptic blocks.

Director of Technical Operations
The Director of Technical Operations (Aseptic) is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our Aseptic lines including their batch rooms. Essential Functions
- FAT’s
- Hire/Train/Designate SME’s to attend all FAT’s
- Verify the machine spec as per design and communicating to OEM if there’s discrepancies
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Build technical team to support the 13 current aseptic lines
- Evaluate in house talent
- Weekly aseptic support calls
- Deploy resources as when needed based on Change-gear submissions
- Focus line Support (For Batching to Block)
- Maintenance and rebuild support
- DV and Audit from Batching to Block
- Ordering spare parts
- Schedule OEM
- Partner with TS, planning on rebuild schedule
- Maintenance compliance (Batching to Block)
- Creation of PM scripts and Partnering with Asset Management for administrative functions
- System Audits (Machine and Maintenance)
- Condition based maintenance (predictive maintenance)
- OEM Management
- Warranty Management
- Maintenance contract execution
- Punch list management (Post SAT)
- Lead the trouble shooting exercise as and when needed to troubleshoot equipment issues. Partner with process engineering, plant teams and OEM to trouble shoot the issue, define the corrective action and implementation.
- Develop, monitor, and report performance indicators to highlight progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Lead and develop Team Members with robust training materials to successfully meet the Company’s objectives, creating a competitive advantage and ensuring Team Members learn from your expertise.
- Responsible for managing the SG&A budget for the team and performance management of team members.
- Mentor our plant maintenance managers, in partnership with the Plant Directors on optimal aseptic business practices.
- Liaise between various support groups to ensure alignment on the vision of success for aseptic and integration into Niagara’s existing business model.
- Work closely with external manufacturing partners to ensure proper integration of new business to meet company and program goals.
- Identify new technology to further improve the overall batching operation, mainly Aseptic.
