The Core Duties
- Provides direction for implementation, daily operation, support, integrity, and security of the technology, network and data that supports and enables the business operation.
- Partners with all functional areas of the agency and implements IT solutions to support the agency’s strategy and growth and improve overall efficiencies. Assists with training when needed.
- Manages RFP processes and oversees IT contracts including service, software, licensing, support, hardware and lease agreements.
- Creates and implements technology strategies and processes for information security, regulation compliance, disaster recovery, business continuity, enterprise infrastructure and business applications.
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field
- 7 years of experience managing information systems and technology resources
- At least 3 years of management experience
- Strong technical background in multiple disciplines including: SAAS, IAAS, Cloud Technologies, VMare, Office 365, MS Windows/OS X Environment, MS SQL, Database Architecture, Kaseya, Zendesk, NetSuite, Network Architecture and Topology, FortiGate Firewall, Enterasys, Quantum Backup, ShoreTel/Cisco Telephony PBX and Information Security.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate information clearly (written and oral)
- Demonstrates strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
- Strong project management and negotiation skill set
- Ability and desire to work independently and as a team member with the community and staff
- Positive, upbeat and enthusiastic about working in a non-profit environment
