Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing & Evaluation
- Identify acquisition and investment opportunities aligned with Anywhere’s strategic goals.
- Build relationships with external partners including brokers, bankers, founders, and advisors.
- Analyze industry trends, competitive landscapes, and whitespace opportunities.
- Deal Execution & Analysis
- Lead due diligence efforts, partnering with finance, legal, product, HR, and operations.
- Develop complex financial models and valuation scenarios (DCF, precedent transactions, public comps).
- Prepare investment memos and present recommendations to executive leadership and board committees.
- Support term sheet negotiation and transaction structuring.
- Integration & Operational Alignment
- Collaborate with business unit leaders and functional teams to ensure smooth integration and realization of deal synergies.
- Monitor post-acquisition performance and support continuous optimization.
- Cross-Functional & Executive Collaboration
- Work across Anywhere’s enterprise—from national brands to tech platforms—to evaluate strategic fit and execution readiness.
- Provide thought leadership on buy/build/partner decisions and long-term value creation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 8–10 years of experience in M&A, corporate development, investment banking, or private equity, ideally with exposure to real estate or franchise businesses.
- Demonstrated experience leading multiple end-to-end transactions, including diligence, modeling, negotiation, and integration.
- Strong understanding of real estate, technology-enabled services, or consumer-facing platforms is a plus.
- Excellent financial modeling, communication, and executive presentation skills.
- Ability to operate in a complex, matrixed organization and manage multiple stakeholders.
