About Your Role

With production capabilities leading the industry in prepaid card delivery, you will harness multiple technologies and software to deliver exceptional products to our customers.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage a group of up to 15 distributed software developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive high performance.
- Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and IT, to define software requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Manage software development projects, including planning, resource allocation, and tracking progress to ensure timely delivery.
- Implement clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices and best practices to ensure efficiency and quality and collaborate with designers, product managers, developers & testers.
- Integrate REST APIs and third-party libraries and optimize applications for performance, stability, cyber security, resiliency, and responsiveness.
- Lead code reviews and enforce coding standards and contribute to architectural and design decisions.
- Optimize team's use of CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment and ensure team remediates all Vulnerabilities on time, own & close findings from SDLC Audits etc.
- 9 years of experience in software development.
- 3 years of experience as a people manager.
- Proven track record of leading successful software development projects from conception to delivery.
- Strong technical expertise in software development methodologies, programming languages, and software architecture.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant field, and/or equivalent military experience.
- Technical and foundational skills:
- Strong experience with JavaScript / TypeScript and React Native.
- Understanding of mobile UI/UX standards.
- Familiarity with native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) / Android (Java/Kotlin) development.
- Strong knowledge of REST integrations.
- Version control using Git.
- Experience with automated tests and related frameworks.
- Knowledge of app store submission and release processes.
- Ownership mindset & ability to work independently
- Exposure to security best practices for mobile applications.
- Experience in credit card, payments, or output services industry.
- Master's degree in computer science or a relevant field.
- Experience working in Agile development environment.
- Familiarity with cloud services (Azure, AWS, Firebase).
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
- Approximately 10% of travel off-site or to other office locations is expected.
