TEKsystems is partnering with a local client in La Crosse in the search for an onsite Desktop Support Technician. This is a first shift, Monday - Friday position.
In this position, the technician will be responsible for diagnosing, fixing, and maintaining laptops, tablets, and desktop computers. This person will also handle assigned service desk task, provide technical support, and offer guidance to users on resolving hardware and software issues to ensure proper resolution. Other duties include maintaining accurate inventory of technical equipment and preparing it for shipping, relocation, or installation and supporting additional technical needs, including audio and specialized equipment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manages technical equipment, including applying updates, cloning devices, and performing repairs.
- Troubleshoots and provides phone-based support for both internal and external users.
- Serves as the first point of contact for technical issues, collects detailed incident information, verifies its accuracy, and routes it to the appropriate team.
- Provides on-site technical support and assists the helpdesk team with inventory, hardware/software support, equipment setup, and user assistance.
- Associates Degree in an IT related field (required)
- 6 months experience performing IT support in a professional environment, including a student help desk, internship, or professional experience.
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
