Initially, work will be delegated by a lead or project engineer, progressing to full product design as company and product knowledge is gained. - Develop fabrication drawings based on delegated work.
- Update models and parts by pulling information and drawings from the Vault.
- Grow into full product design with gained company and product knowledge.
- Conduct fieldwork, including measurements and system evaluations.
- Participate in project kickoffs, planning, and customer sign-offs.
- Support the shop floor, ensuring final product meets requirements.
- Collaborate with fabricators and welders to ensure drawings reflect correct information.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
- Experience in creating part, assembly, and fabrication drawings.
- Ability to model with experience in BOMs, weld symbols, notes, and blocks.
- Familiarity with steel fabrication drawings (1/4 inch or more).
- Skill in using a tape measure accurately.
- 2 years of experience with Inventor.
- Associate's degree in drafting or equivalent.
- Experience working in a fabrication environment.
