The Decision Engineering Analytics Platform (DEAP) team within the Data Center Group is looking for an intern to learn and contribute to analytics solutions.
The DEAP Team produces self-service analytics tools for product planners; at various stages of the product's life cycle, there are different levers that we can optimize to reduce costs and increase margins.
These include architecture definition, sort and routing optimization, and inventory planning. We have 100 monthly active users and a robust user community and are looking for support to implement new features and cutting-edge analytics solutions.

Who You Are
Key Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Working within the team and developing Proof of Concept (POC) solutions and prototypes for future projects (including building Machine Learning models, designing wireframes, creating visualizations, and modeling stochasticity).
- Analyzing data sets and constructing data models.
- Writing production code, including unit tests and validation automation tests.
- Identify and resolve manufacturing issues that could impact product delivery.
- Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently, with a proactive approach to solving complex engineering challenges
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate results that meet the needs of engineering stakeholders
- Effective collaboration in a multi-site, cross-functional team environment
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity with confidence.

- Knowledge of advanced Data Science frameworks in Machine Learning (scikit-learn, XGBoost), Deep Learning (Tensorflow, Pytorch, Spark) or Numerical Optimization (Decomposition methods, Dynamic Programing, Stochastic Optimization)
- Experience with Linear & Mixed-Integer Programming models and software (CPLEX, GUROBI, etc.)
- Experience with analytics methods including Large Language Models, SQL, Plotly-dash or Power BI, Git/Github, Argo Workflows, and/or Kubernetes
- Skilled at interfacing with engineers and managers by providing project and schedule updates
- Skills to prioritize tasks independently
