Adecco is hiring immediately for Data Entry Clerks with one of our Customers in the East side area. Weekly pay starting at $13.00 per hour and competitive benefits with options such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Job Summary

Logistics Data Entry Clerk – Job Description

A Logistics Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining logistics and supply chain data in company systems. This role supports transportation, warehouse, and inventory operations by ensuring timely and precise documentation of shipments, orders, and inventory records.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter and update shipment details, invoices, purchase orders, and delivery records into logistics systems
• Maintain accurate inventory and transportation data
• Verify shipping documents such as bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices
• Track shipments and update delivery status in databases
• Communicate with warehouse staff, drivers, and suppliers regarding order information
• Identify and correct data discrepancies
• Generate reports related to shipments, inventory, and logistics performance
• Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred)
• Proven experience in data entry, logistics, supply chain, or administrative roles
• Fast and accurate typing skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and logistics management software
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic understanding of supply chain and transportation processes
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work under deadlines
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Knowledge of shipping documentation and freight terminology
• Experience in warehouse or transportation environments
  
  

Pay Details: $13.00 per hour
