Red River Technology is actively seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team in supporting a mission-critical program for the Navy. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade security measures for the protection of the program's data, systems, and networks.
- Assist and drive complex ATO RMF packages.
- Design and implement system security into complex systems.
- Conduct security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement appropriate security controls.
- Troubleshoot security and network problems.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology systems engineering, or a related field, or applicable work experience.
- Active DoD Secret clearance required.
- 5 years of experience in cyber engineering (e.g., incident detection, incident response, forensic), with proven experience supporting Department of Defense programs.
- Strong understanding and experience with securing, configuring, and assessing network security products such as Cisco Firepower, Cisco ISE, and Splunk.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, Mitre Attack Framework, DoD Compliance Frameworks such as DoDI 8510, DoDI 8570, Zero Trust Architectures).
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and technologies.
- Familiarity and experience building and submitting complex ATO packages.
- Designing and implementing system security into complex systems.
- Experience with performing security vulnerability scans (ACAS).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
