How You'll Make An Impact
- analyze the customs core processes (such asimport, export, classification, solicitation, origin, special customsprocedures)
- visualize processes and discuss these processeswith other affected functions (based on the visualized processes)
- digitalize and automate manual processes in thebest possible way or standardize existing customs processes in such a waythat the process meets global requirements and can be implemented with astandardized global trade management system.
- implement requirements derived from the global orregional/national customs processes to the respective customsapplications.
- Bachelor's degree (e.g. in business administrationor information management) or equivalent experience as customs expert.
- 5 years of experience of working in a customsenvironment; Candidates with more experience may be eligible for a moresenior level position.
- Solid understanding of the core customs processes
- an affinity in analyzing existing customsprocesses and identifying and outlining areas for improvement.
- Understand the necessary foreign trade data andwhen it is needed to collaborate with the global trade management systemand the corresponding customs process
- Fluent in English; comfortable speaking German isa plus.
