Develop an analytical and fundamental view on front- to- back crude spreads and domestic crude differentials. Develop a crude oil blending position in Cushing and identify arbitrage opportunities along pipeline, truck and waterborne. Assist in the development of the growth of the crude business i.e. storage and blending possibilities. Communicate to the rest of the trading team views and opinions. Integrate Musket into the physical domestic and international trading business.

Major Responsibilities
- Responsible for new business development.
- Execute optimal trading strategy for Crude Oil.
- Use market economics and price trends to effectively manage asset base.
- Manage trading positions, Fixed Forwards and market orders based on market structure and supply/demand.
- Direct deal flow to generate growth and maximize top and bottom line new business opportunities.
- Evaluate and analyze storage and blending business.
- Develop broader portfolio strategies to identify and manage major risk exposure.
- Ensure proper contract negotiation, review and execution.
- Develop supply and demand models to analyze current and future market opportunities.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Management, Marketing, Economics required
- Master's degree of Business Administration preferred
- Experience
- With a bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Management, Marketing, Economics, must have five (5) years of business development experience in the wholesale marketing industry managing energy logistics, asset portfolios, and strategies for a diverse product, term, volume, and price contract options; and building natural gas liquids business infrastructure.
- With a Master of Business Administration, must have one (1) year of business development experience in the wholesale marketing industry managing energy logistics, asset portfolios, and strategies for a diverse product, term, volume, and price contract options; and building crude oil business infrastructure.
- Skills:
- Hard Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office, management skills, understanding of risk management and the ability to operate within trading guideline
- Soft Skills: Good written and oral communication skills, team player, exceptional customer service, attention to detail, self-motivated, good time management skills, and innovative thinking
- Typical Physical Demands:
- Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
- Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
