- Manage on-site operations, including coordinating subcontractors, to ensure projects are completed on time.
- Oversee quality control, perform quality inspections, and ensure compliance with safety regulations, OSHA, and company policies.
- Review and interpret construction drawings and plans to ensure work is executed according to specifications.
- Communicate regularly with the project team and provide updates on project progress.
- Manage subcontractors and site administrative duties.
- Report daily progress and safety updates to the construction manager.
- Coordinate work on site, manage inventory and deliveries, and conduct inspections.
- Document information from contractors/engineers and ensure it is communicated to the appropriate parties.
- Capture progress through photographs and report back to the project manager.
- Strong experience in civil construction, electrical, and mechanical aspects of solar construction.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings.
- Experience with Procore, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Apple iPads.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Experience in solar construction management, preferably ground mount solar.
- Leadership experience in overseeing construction crews.
- Proficiency in managing sub-vendors and coordinating site operations.
